If you are set to receive a court date, have already been informed of a court date or have a date set for eviction from your property then it may be possible for us to stop your house being repossessed at any of these stages before repossession. We will write to the courts and ask them to postpone your eviction for a period of 3-4 weeks to allow us sufficient time to obtain a mortgage offer for you. We will act very quickly but we will also require your co-operation in forwarding the requested documentation to us as soon as we request it from you. Lenders should only go for repossession as a last resort and if you are able to prove that you can resolve the situation, the court should allow you time to do this. If you are in the process of having your home repossessed and are unsure of where you stand, please call us and we will help to clarify the situation for you. |
